Initiating the second phase of replacing the SG-1011 B boiler at Urea-01 plant

Project: LTP-2121 – Replacement of Steam Generator SG-1011 B in Urea-1 Plant

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the new boiler, which will replace the SG-1011 B boiler at the first urea plant, arrived from Romania at the western Brega commercial port.
After the boiler was prepared for transport by MAMMOTH Oil Services crews, at dawn on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the giant machine, weighing 160 tons, measuring 11.75 meters long, 7.5 meters wide, and 9.8 meters high, with a total volume of 864 cubic meters, began its journey. The journey took approximately three hours from the port to the industrial complex of the Libyan Fertilizer Company, starting at 5:45 a.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m. 8:25 AM
Fortunately, that was executed smoothly and professionally by the implementing company, under the supervision of the Industrial Security, Facilities, and Shipping Departments at Sirte Oil Company, and the Industrial Security Department at the Libyan Fertilizer Company, to ensure the highest safety standards.

Libyan Fertilizers and Al-Jawf Oil Technology discuss mechanisms for the safe disposal of stagnant chemicals

Delegations from Al-Jouf Oil Technology Company and the Libyan Fertilizer Company met on Tuesday morning, July 30, 2025, at the company’s main building to discuss activating mechanisms for the safe disposal of stagnant chemicals.
The Al-Jouf delegation was represented by:

    The two delegations discussed the activation of mechanisms for the safe disposal of stagnant chemicals, in an attempt to develop a clear strategic vision for action plans that support this important issue, in coordination with other companies in the sector.
